Hello you beautiful people, we have missed you! Today’s post is all about winter wedding guest attire. I have been to my fair share of weddings but up until now, all of them were in the summer. This year that is not the case, and I was genuinely curious as to what exactly I was going to wear to the occasion. I rummaged through my closet multiple times before I channeled my inner Grinch and thought to myself “that’s it I’m not going”, but quickly decided this wasn’t possible and to quit being so dramatic. So, I spent a lot of time this month looking for that perfect wedding guest dress that is also suitable for this season. I came across so many great options and thought it would be great to share with you all. After all, I know I’m not the only one who has spoken the words “I have nothing to wear”, am I right?
I’ll admit this one is a little pricy, but look at those pretty pleats! This dress is perfect for a winter wedding from the color to the sleeves. A pair of statement earrings is all you’ll need, I promise. Throw on some strappy heels and you’re ready to go! This dress is also great for other occasions so you’ll get some bang for your buck.
I mean, who doesn’t love a good ruffled detail? This high neck sheath dress is great for those who want a more subtle look. It comes in two colors, the classic black and mauve. This dress is the perfect mix of style and sophistication.
Velvet & lace make a killer combo if you as me! Don’t believe me? Just take a look at this LBD, and I’m sure you’ll agree. I love the scalloped trim on the sleeves and how it shows the perfect amount of skin. You can also ditch the belt if that’s not your style.
Perfect for the girl who likes to stand out in a subtle way. I’m not the biggest fan of metallic, but I know a pretty dress when I see one, and I mean just look at that color! Oh, and did I mention you can rent this bad boy for just $45 from Rent the Runway? I rest my case.
Leave a comment and let us know which of these 4 fabulous dresses you would wear to a winter wedding! I for one just cannot decide.
